About Us

With origins from Homebush State Abattoirs and with many Butcher shops over the years in most suburbs.

In the 1970's third generation butcher, Fred McDonald, took the Company into the export arena, servicing, Japan, Korea, South East Asia and the Pacific Islands.

Today the company is managed by Fred's sons Brett and Peter McDonald, with the help of a great team of dedicated staff. Homebush Export Meat is a leading exporter of high quality Beef, Lamb, Pork, Game, and Australian Farm Products.

Specialists in the supply to supermarkets, hotels, and the cruise line industry including beef, lamb, pork, sheepmeat, veal, goat, seafood, game, offals, poultry, dairy products, wine, smallgoods, frozen products and religious meats, (Certified Halal and Kosher products).

Full consolidated containers and airfreight arranged to most destinations.

Specialised meats including F1, Wagyu, marbled beef, organic beef, natural grass fed, yearling, steer and prime, from the best cattle and regions in Australia.
